Overture Europe Changes Leadership

Overture Services, an Internet search firm, has promoted Stephen Taylor to the managing director for Overture Europe. The move replaces Nick Hynes, the man responsible for launching Overture in the UK.
Hynes, after a transitional period, will be leaving the company permanently. He was promoted to his position two years ago.
Taylor will report to the company's international president, Brian Steel, located in California. He comes to the company with a hefty resume of Internet business involvement. Taylor's last position was CEO of Securicor eSolutions, a secure shopping portal service.
In a quote taken from BrandRepublic.com, Steel had this to say about the hierarchy shuffle:
"We are very grateful to Nick for his tremendous contribution to Overture. He set up our first operation outside the US, subsequently establishing our business very successfully across 12 European countries. He now hands control of a market-leading business in Europe to Stephen, who has a great understanding of our business."
